In 1974, Margaret
Kuo opened the Peking in the Granite Run Mall as the Philadelphia
area's first Chinese restaurant serving authentic northern Chineses
cuisine.

Since its debut, the Peking has received numerous
outstanding reviews and awards for its electable cusine and elegant
yet understated decor. Madam Kuo's adherence to heritage and
tradition enables her to refine her cuisine over the years without
compromising its authenticity. That Madam Kuo subsequently incorporated
Kansai style Japanese cuisine in her culinary repetoire only
helped establish the Peking as the preeminent East Asian Restaurant
in the Delaware Valley.
